Mission
DarkSky Hopewell protects people and the environment by raising awareness about nighttime light pollution and how to fix it. We inform the community, provide educational materials to teachers and collaborate with municipal officials to improve legislation. We work with local businesses and residents to economically upgrade to dark sky friendly outdoor lighting.

Modern lighting ordinances can reduce light pollution in new and renovated lighting installations while encouraging energy conservation, safety and security. DarkSky Hopewell collaborates with local government to draft effective, easy-to-understand legislation.
